Virtual university of Pakistan delivers its lectures via its own free-to-air television channels, collectively known as the virtual university television network (VUTV). The lecture transmission schedule is updated weekly and displayed on the virtual university website. Video lectures of all developed courses on multimedia DVDs are also available at campuses and also viewed on YouTube.
Teaching schedule:
In an academic year, there are two semesters, namely fall and spring, each of minimum 18 weeks duration; the fall semester begins usually in October every year and spring semester in the march of the following year.
Semester duration includes actual teaching time, conduct of examinations etc. The exact teaching schedule of each semester is notified separately through the LMS. |
